Our client, a professional services organization, is seeking a Part-Time Interim HR Manager to join its Brooklyn team for a maternity leave coverage. This is a unique opportunity to step into a highly visible, hands-on HR role within a creative, fast-paced, and collaborative environment. In this role, you will oversee day-to-day HR operations and support the full employee lifecycle, partnering closely with leadership and cross-functional teams including Finance, IT, and Staffing. The ideal candidate will bring strong generalist experience across HR operations, compliance, benefits, and employee lifecycle management, along with the ability to navigate a dynamic environment with many personalities. - Bachelor’s degree required; degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field preferred.
- 7+ years of HR experience required, ideally within a creative or fast-paced environment.
- Strong background in HR operations, compliance, and full employee lifecycle management.
- Working knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws, with the ability to advise leadership on compliance and risk.
- Strong understanding of data integrity and HR systems, particularly related to employee records and I-9s.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to guide stakeholders and provide thoughtful pushback when needed.
- Highly adaptable and solutions-oriented, with the ability to manage competing priorities and evolving needs.
- Must be comfortable working onsite in Brooklyn three days per week.
The pay for this role is $50-$53/hour.
Compensation is commensurate with experience.
