Our client, a nonprofit organization, is seeking a Contract Recruiter to join their New York, NY team on a hybrid basis. This individual will support high-volume, full life-cycle recruiting efforts during a peak hiring period, partnering closely with a small talent acquisition team to manage roles across multiple functions. The role involves proactive sourcing, heavy candidate screening, and managing the recruitment process from intake through offer, while ensuring a strong candidate experience. This is a hands-on, fast-paced opportunity suited for a seasoned recruiter who can balance competing priorities and communicate effectively with stakeholders, including attorneys. The ideal candidate brings strong full-cycle recruiting experience in high-volume environments, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently with flexibility. - Bachelor’s degree, required.
- 5+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience in high-volume environments, required.
- Experience managing requisitions with large applicant pools and multiple concurrent openings, required.
- Proficiency with applicant tracking systems and LinkedIn Recruiter, required.
- Strong experience conducting phone screens and managing early-stage candidate pipelines, required.
- Ability to manage scheduling and offer processes independently, required.
- Experience working in fast-paced, dynamic environments with shifting priorities, required.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, particularly with professional stakeholders, required.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, required.
- Experience supporting nonprofit organizations or working with external agencies/vendors, preferred.
The hourly rate for this role is $40-$50/hr.
Compensation is commensurate with experience.
