Our client, a well-established law firm, is seeking a Legal Recruiting Manager to join its Talent team in New York, NY. This role partners closely with the Director of Legal Recruiting to lead law student and early-career recruiting initiatives while overseeing a highly structured summer associate program. The Legal Recruiting Manager will drive campus outreach, manage recruiting operations, strengthen law school partnerships, and ensure an exceptional candidate experience from recruitment through onboarding. This position offers visibility across the firm and serves as a key resource to both attorneys and recruiting leadership. The ideal candidate brings prior law firm legal recruiting experience, strong relationship-building skills, and a proactive, team-oriented approach to talent acquisition. - Bachelor’s degree, required.
- 3+ years of legal recruiting experience within a law firm environment, required.
- Experience managing law student, campus recruiting, or early-career talent programs, required.
- Strong knowledge of on-campus interviewing (OCI), law school outreach, and recruiting best practices, required.
- Experience building relationships with law school career services offices and external recruiting partners, required.
- Experience with FloRecruit, Lawcruit, viRecruit, Suited, or similar legal recruiting systems, preferred.
- Strong organizational, communication, and project management skills, required.
- Ability to work collaboratively with attorneys, candidates, and internal stakeholders in a fast-paced environment, required.
- Willingness to attend evening recruiting events and occasional travel for law schools and industry conferences, required.
- Experience mentoring junior team members and supporting recruiting leadership, preferred.
The salary for this role is $110K-$130K.
Compensation is commensurate with experience.
