Overview
We are seeking a C++/Qt Platform Engineer to join a growing engineering team working on live event technology and hardware platforms. The role involves working with a large legacy codebase in both Linux and Windows environments. You will be expected to dig deep into complex systems, identify bugs, perform root cause analysis, and deliver solutions. The position offers the chance to work on exciting projects such as hardware/board development, GUI refresh initiatives, and platform modernization efforts.
Responsibilities

Analyze, maintain, and improve a large-scale C++/Qt codebase

Perform debugging, root cause analysis, and bug resolution

Develop firmware, embedded programming, and GUI features

Work with hardware systems (controls, consoles, sensors, lighting boards)

Contribute to platform modernization including GUI refresh, hardware feature enhancements, and migration to 64-bit environments

Collaborate with cross-functional team members during agile ceremonies
Required Skills

Strong C++ and Qt expertise (C++14 preferred)

Knowledge of C language fundamentals

Experience with Linux environments

Background in firmware, embedded programming, and GUI development

Experience with testing tools (Squish preferred)
