Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced HRIS Business Analyst/Admin to support process and system improvement initiatives within a large-scale human resources environment. This role focuses on analyzing existing HR processes, identifying areas for standardization and efficiency, and facilitating collaboration between business, policy, and technical teams to deliver impactful solutions.
The ideal candidate is a proactive, strategic thinker who excels at facilitating discussions, gathering requirements, and driving change across complex organizations.
Key Responsibilities

Facilitate Collaboration: Lead discussions with HR leaders, process owners, and technical teams to gather and document business requirements.

Process Evaluation: Analyze current HR processes and workflows to identify gaps, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement.

Stakeholder Communication: Act as a liaison between business users, policy stakeholders, and IT teams to ensure alignment and shared understanding of objectives.

Documentation & Reporting: Create process maps, requirement documents, and presentations that clearly summarize findings and recommendations.

Solution Development: Support the design, testing, and implementation of process and system enhancements to streamline HR operations and improve user experience.
Top Required Skills

8-10+ years leading and facilitating requirement-gathering sessions across cross-functional or siloed teams.

Strong communication skills with experience presenting to all levels of stakeholders.

Proven ability to serve as a bridge between business and technical teams to drive organizational change.

Expertise in process integration and workflow standardization across multiple business units.

Ability to work independently with creativity, initiative, and strategic vision.
Preferred Skills

Experience working with PeopleSoft HRIS or similar enterprise HR systems.

Prior experience supporting large-scale HR transformation or modernization initiatives.

Familiarity with public sector or government processes a plus.
Work Environment

Hybrid role based in Madison, WI, with one regular onsite day per week (typically Wednesdays).
