Job Title: Project Manager – Finance & Compliance
Location: Madison, WI (Onsite)
Type: 6-Month Contract + possible extensions
Start Date: ASAP
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead and deliver finance and compliance-related initiatives for a 6-month engagement based onsite in Madison, WI. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record managing cross-functional projects involving regulatory, financial systems, or audit/compliance efforts. This individual will work closely with business stakeholders, technical teams, and leadership to ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and aligned to business goals.
Key Responsibilities:

Plan, execute, and oversee finance and/or compliance-related projects

Define project scope, goals, deliverables, timelines, and resource needs

Lead cross-functional teams and manage stakeholder expectations

Ensure alignment with financial regulations, internal controls, and compliance standards

Track and report on project progress, risks, and milestones

Coordinate with vendors or consultants as needed

Document requirements, processes, and outcomes clearly
Qualifications:

5+ years of project management experience, preferably with finance or compliance focus

Experience managing projects involving financial systems, regulatory changes, or audit processes

Strong understanding of project methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid)

Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills

PMP certification preferred
