Overview
We are seeking an experienced IT professional to support facilities-based systems including surveillance, access control, building automation, and telecommunications. This role involves a combination of system design, installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting across multiple locations.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, configure, maintain, and monitor network infrastructure and surveillance systems
- Support routers, switches, servers, storage solutions, and desktop environments
- Manage web filtering technologies (e.g., firewall/security platforms)
- Provide troubleshooting and issue resolution across distributed systems
- Create and maintain system documentation and technical reports
- Contribute to system planning, project tracking, and strategic initiatives
- Travel to various sites for installation and support as needed
- Work independently across secure and complex environments
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience with Cisco networking (routers and switches)
- 1-2 years of experience with web filtering technologies (e.g., Palo Alto, Zscaler)
- 1-2 years of experience with video surveillance systems (network/server/workstation level)
- Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with door access control systems
- Knowledge of building automation systems
Additional Details
- Hybrid work environment with on-site responsibilities
- Occasional travel required (mainly day trips, infrequent overnight)
- On-call rotation approximately every 8 weeks
