Docketing Clerk – Law Firm – Hybrid

The midtown New York City Office of a medium-sized law firm is looking for a Docketing Clerk to assist the Managing Clerk’s Office. This is a hybrid role (3 days in/2 days home) with substantial overtime after 35 hours. This is a great role if you want to be an integral part of a busy team.

Job Description:
– Manahge Firm’s litigation calendar and ensure upcoming deadlines are met
– Monitor cases
– Legal research and due diligence
– Serve and file court papers
– Prepare docket reports
– Work on projects and tasks with others in Managing Clerk’s department
– Utilization of NYSCEF and PACER

Requirements/Qualifications/Work environment:
– Bacehlor’s Degree highly preferred
– Hybrid (3 days in 2 days out)
– Must be willing to work overtime (after 35 hours)
– At least 2 years of experience with docketing, calendaring, litigation assistance
– Filing experience preferred (state and federal level_
– Must be open to 10am-6pm and overtime (after 35 hours)
– For calendaring: must have experience with calendaring software
– $75,000-$81,000 annual base salary
