A reputable law firm is seeking a Litigation Legal Administrative Assistant to join their team in Kansas City, MO! This position is HYBRID, full benefits, and a competitive salary!
Their ideal candidate has a minimum of 3 years of experience as a legal assistant or other administrative roles. This person has strong communication and critical thinking skills, is highly organized, tech savvy, and brings good energy.
Skills required and Job Duties include the following:
Job Duties:
- Reviews and prepares pleading documents and administrative materials.
- Delivers reliable administrative support to attorneys and staff.
- Communicates effectively with attorneys, and paralegals on case prep, discovery, and trial prep.
- Electronically files documents in state and federal court.
- Schedules appointments and maintains attorneys calendars.
- Helps with travel and events.
- Assist with other additional duties as needed.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a legal assistant or admin role, ideally in litigation.
- Experienced using Microsoft Office Suite.
