Beacon Hill Legal is seeking an on-site Litigation Legal Assistant in St. Louis, Missouri to support attorneys and paralegals in a fast-paced litigation practice.
Responsibilities:
- Manage calendars and litigation deadlines (hearings, depositions, motions, discovery).
- Coordinate depositions and related logistics, including travel arrangements and expense reporting.
- Prepare, file, and serve litigation documents, including pleadings, discovery, correspondence, and service/declarations.
- Maintain case data, tracking charts, and deadlines in the case management system.
- Assist with trial preparation, including organizing and producing exhibits, preparing binders, supporting witnesses, and delivering materials to the courthouse.
Qualifications:
- Basic proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook, as well as Adobe Acrobat.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively to build effective working relationships with attorneys, investigators, paralegals, and legal assistants.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred experience: 1+ years in the legal industry (or equivalent experience).
