A well-respected Cleveland Law Firm is seeking a Legal Secretary that has strong attention to detail, punctual and reliable to be part of a robust practice.
Job Description:
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet visitors and direct them to appropriate staff or attorneys
- Answer phones, take messages, and handle client inquiries
- Prepare correspondence, pleadings, contracts, and other legal documents
- Perform administrative tasks including filing, scanning, and photocopying
- Draft and proofread letters, memos, and emails
- Maintain and organize client files and confidential records
- Prepare and mail outgoing correspondence
- Input and proof client contracts into the document management system
- Maintain and update client governing documents
- Schedule meetings, conference calls, and book meeting rooms
- Assist with presentations, reports, and special events
- Maintain conference rooms and kitchen areas
- Assist with special projects and other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years of law firm experience
- Training in law office procedures, technology, and legal terminology
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Office and legal software
- Technically savvy with strong time management and organization skills
- Demonstrates discretion, good judgment, and a proactive work ethic
- Team-oriented with strong interpersonal skills
