Position Overview:
A well respected St. Louis law firm is seeking a full-time Paralegal with strong experience in family law to provide comprehensive support to attorneys handling divorce, custody, support, and other related matters. We’re looking for someone who is organized, detail-driven, and capable of managing a busy caseload with competing priorities and tight deadlines.
Primary Duties:

Prepare, edit, and format legal pleadings, discovery documents, and correspondence.

Maintain and organize case files, ensuring all records are accurate and current.

Arrange hearings, client meetings, depositions, and filing deadlines.

Serve as a point of contact for clients, court staff, and opposing counsel-maintaining professionalism, empathy, and clear communication at all times.

Assist in trial preparation, including compiling exhibits and supporting materials.

Utilize legal software to track case progress, manage documentation, and assist with billing tasks.
Required Skills and Experience:

At least three years of paralegal experience, ideally in a family law practice.

Strong writing, communication, and organizational abilities.

Ability to manage multiple priorities independently and meet strict deadlines.

Excellent attention to detail, initiative, and a positive, team-focused attitude.

Paralegal degree or certification preferred, though not mandatory.

Proficiency with Microsoft Word; experience using case management tools such as Worldox or ProLaw is advantageous.
