We are seeking a highly skilled Real Estate Paralegal to support our national Real Estate Practice Group. This role reports to the Practice Group Leader, with day-to-day direction provided by assigned attorneys. The ideal candidate will bring strong commercial real estate experience and thrive in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities

Perform and coordinate due diligence, including review of title commitments, surveys, zoning reports, and supporting documents.

Assist in the preparation and review of real estate conveyance and closing documents.

Manage all aspects of real estate closings (acquisitions, dispositions, financing’s, debt, and equity), including signature page packages, closing checklists, recording requirements, and post-closing books.

Prepare, review, and file UCC financing statements; order and evaluate UCC, lien, litigation, and similar searches.

Handle entity formation and maintenance, including related filings.

Review and assemble officer’s certificates, resolutions, organizational documents, and other closing deliverables.

Conduct routine fact and legal research; prepare reports and handle filings as needed.

Collaborate with clients and external parties to ensure smooth coordination of matters.
Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or Associate’s degree plus a Paralegal Certificate required.

5+ years of commercial real estate experience (law firm, in-house legal department, or title company).

Experience with large, sophisticated transactions strongly preferred; title and survey proficiency required.

Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple projects independently.

Strong client service orientation with excellent communication skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, PDF creation tools, document management systems, and timekeeping software (Elite or similar).

Ability to work overtime as needed.
