We are seeking a capable and motivated Pre‑Litigation Paralegal who can step in confidently and make an immediate impact.
Position Overview
The Pre‑Litigation Paralegal will manage a busy caseload and provide comprehensive support to attorneys throughout the pre‑litigation phase. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and comfortable communicating with clients, providers, and insurance representatives. Strong time‑management skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team are essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a primary point of contact for clients during the pre‑litigation process
- Gather, organize, and maintain case documentation
- Review and summarize medical records, bills, and other case‑related materials
- Communicate with medical providers, insurance companies, and lien holders
- Draft demand letters and other pre‑litigation documents
- Monitor client treatment progress and ensure timely follow‑up
- Assist attorneys with case preparation, investigation, and strategy development
- Maintain accurate notes, deadlines, and updates within case management software
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a legal support role; pre‑litigation or personal injury experience preferred
- Strong understanding of legal processes and case management workflows
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines simultaneously
- High level of professionalism, empathy, and client‑service orientation
- Strong attention to detail and problem‑solving abilities
