A North Shore firm is looking for an experienced Trusts & Estates attorney to be based in their Northbrook, IL office. This is a great opportunity to work with a highly sophisticated team and work on complex, leanly staffed matters.
The ideal candidate will have at least 2+ years of experience in Trusts and Estates law, including estate planning, trust administration, and probate.
Responsibilities:
- Handle trust and estate administration matters, including asset collection, valuation, basis updating, and distribution.
- Advise clients on estate planning strategies, including tax minimization, creditor protection, accomplishing family goals, etc.
- Draft various estate planning documents including wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and more complex documents when required.
- Preparation of gift and estate tax returns.
- Represent clients in probate proceedings and provide guidance through the probate process.

- 1680 billable hour requirement!
- Full time in office schedule
- IL bar license required
- Salary ranges up to $115K (base salary)
