A Minnesota agricultural corporation is seeking an experienced Employment Counsel to join their in-house legal team in their Minneapolis-area office. The role will provide strategic and day-to-day legal guidance on a broad range of employment matters and partners closely with HR and business leaders.
Ideal Candidate
– 6+ years of employment counseling experience in an in house or law firm setting
– A Minnesota bar license
Responsibilities:
– Advise on employment issues: discrimination, accommodations, investigations, wage and hour, discipline, terminations, and immigration
– Manage litigation and administrative matters (EEOC, DOL, OSHA)
– Support labor negotiations and resolve labor disputes
– Draft policies, handbooks, separation agreements, and training materials
– Monitor legal developments and ensure compliance
This is a primarily on-site role. Compensation will be based on experience but the company anticipates the range falling between $175-235k. The group is motivated to hire. Apply today!
