Compensation: Competitive salary $100,000 to $140,000 + comprehensive benefits

About the Opportunity

A premier law firm is seeking an experienced Commercial Real Estate Paralegal to support a sophisticated real estate practice handling acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, financing, and development matters. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented legal professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys managing complex commercial real estate transactions from inception through closing.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist attorneys with all aspects of commercial real estate transactions, including acquisitions, sales, financing, leasing, and development projects.
  • Review and analyze title commitments, surveys, zoning reports, and due diligence materials.
  • Prepare, revise, and organize real estate closing documents, closing checklists, and transaction binders.
  • Coordinate closings and manage post-closing deliverables and recordation requirements.
  • Draft and file UCC financing statements, amendments, continuations, and related corporate filings.
  • Conduct entity formation and organizational document review for corporations, LLCs, partnerships, and joint ventures.
  • Prepare lease abstracts and assist with lease administration matters.
  • Coordinate with lenders, title companies, surveyors, clients, and opposing counsel throughout transactions.
  • Maintain transaction files, critical deadlines, and closing calendars.
  • Assist with the preparation of closing statements, conveyance documents, and corporate resolutions.

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of commercial real estate paralegal experience in a law firm or in-house legal department.
  • Strong understanding of commercial acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, and financing transactions.
  • Experience reviewing title and survey materials and managing real estate due diligence.
  • Familiarity with UCC filings, entity formations, and corporate governance documents.
  • Excellent organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple transactions simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines.
  • Strong communication and client service skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal document management systems.
