Beacon Hill is partnering with a boutique, full service firm in Chicago in their search for a Bankruptcy Associate to join their growing practice group. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years’ experience in a sophisticated law firm setting.
Their bankruptcy group handles chapter 11 and chapter 7 cases as well as out-of-court restructurings in various incustries including the healthcare and insurance industries. Routine matters include representing creditors in chapter 11 cases, representing insurance companies in their capacity as the Debtors’ insurers, representing lenders in restructurings, foreclosure actions and UCC sales, representing purchasers of the assets of distressed businesses, defending avoidance actions, and assisting Trustees in chapter 7 cases.
