Beacon Hill is working with a reputable firm and seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized eDiscovery professional to support litigation teams through all phases of the electronic discovery lifecycle. This role will collaborate closely with attorneys, paralegals, and IT professionals to manage data collection, processing, review workflows, and production while ensuring defensibility, efficiency, and compliance with applicable rules and best practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the full eDiscovery lifecycle, including identification, preservation, collection, processing, review, and production of electronically stored information (ESI)
- Coordinate with internal legal teams and external vendors on data collections and hosting solutions
- Administer and support eDiscovery platforms (e.g., Relativity or similar tools)
- Develop and implement workflows for document review, including batching, tagging, and quality control
- Perform data processing tasks such as de-duplication, filtering, and metadata extraction
- Assist attorneys with search term development, TAR (Technology-Assisted Review), and analytics tools
- Ensure productions comply with court rules, discovery agreements, and client specifications
- Troubleshoot technical issues related to eDiscovery platforms and data handling
- Maintain documentation of processes to ensure defensibility and audit readiness
- Stay current on evolving eDiscovery trends, case law, and technology advancements
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent experience in legal technology or litigation support considered
- 3+ f experience in eDiscovery, litigation support, or legal technology
- Hands-on experience with eDiscovery platforms (e.g., Relativity, Everlaw, DISCO, or similar)
- Strong understanding of the EDRM (Electronic Discovery Reference Model)
- Familiarity with data formats, file types, and processing techniques
- Experience with TAR, analytics, and large-scale document review projects is a plus
- Knowledge of federal and state discovery rules and procedures
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work cross-functionally
Preferred Skills
- Relativity Certified Administrator (RCA) or similar certification
- Experience managing vendors and outside service providers
- Basic understanding of databases, SQL, or scripting is a plus
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
