A well-established civil defense law firm is seeking an experienced Defense Litigation Paralegal to join our team. This role offers the opportunity to support a busy litigation practice and contribute to the successful representation of our clients.
Responsibilities:

Assist attorneys with all phases of litigation, from case inception through trial and appeal.

Draft and prepare legal documents, including pleadings, discovery requests/responses, subpoenas, and correspondence.

Manage case files and maintain organized, accurate documentation.

Coordinate and track deadlines, court filings, and scheduling of depositions, hearings, and trials.

Review, analyze, and summarize medical records, deposition transcripts, and other case materials.

Conduct legal and factual research to support case strategy.

Communicate with clients, experts, court personnel, and opposing counsel as needed.

Provide trial preparation support, including exhibit organization and witness coordination.
Qualifications:
-
3-5 years of paralegal experience, with a strong preference for personal injury and/or railroad litigation.

Solid knowledge of civil litigation procedures and court rules.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and general litigation support technology.

Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple deadlines.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team in a fast-paced environment.
