Beacon Hill Legal is seeking a Patent and Trademark Docketing Specialist to join a national law firm’s IP practice group. This is a full time, permanent position, 35 hour work week, HYBRID schedule (in office 2-3 days a week), full benefits, and competitive compensation up to $90,000
Skills required and Job Duties include the following:
- At least three (5+) years of IP docketing experience, strong preference in PATENTS. Trademark is a PLUS
- Analyze, review, and process all patent and trademark correspondence, both domestic and foreign, including PAIR, PCT, WIPO Mail, and all USPTO communication
- Docket PAIR, PCT, WIPO, USPTO, and foreign patent and trademark mail in the docketing system
- Docket incoming postal and electronic correspondence from foreign associates and from the USPTO for trademark matters
- Performs on-line research via public access websites, Patent Center, USPTO, and Foreign PTOs
- Prepare new trademark, domain and copyright applications and other trademark prosecution documents for filing at appropriate trademark offices, including gathering all necessary information from clients regarding same; monitoring and maintaining applications through issuance
- Prepare and record documents affecting the chain of title for U.S. and International trademarks
