Beacon Hill Legal has partnered with a highly respected national law firm to recruit a Legal Administrative Specialist for a temporary position in their Jefferson City office. Position Summary
As a Legal Administrative Specialist, you will support the firm’s Administrative Resource Team by handling a variety of administrative, clerical, and organizational tasks. Success in this position requires exceptional attention to detail, strong time management, and the ability to thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced setting.
Primary Responsibilities

Prepare, edit, and format legal documents and correspondence.

Arrange meetings, travel, and schedules, including itineraries.

Process reimbursements, expenses, and related reports.

Organize pleadings and maintain files within the firm’s document management system.

Assist with time entry, billing adjustments, and prebills.

Assemble binders, coordinate mailings, and manage file organization.

Perform general office support tasks such as scanning, printing, and copying.

Track projects and assignments to ensure timely completion.

Operate office equipment and provide day-to-day administrative support.

Handle all responsibilities with discretion and professionalism.

Take on other administrative projects as assigned.
Qualifications
-
High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree preferred.

1-2 years of administrative experience, preferably within a legal or professional services setting.

Strong keyboarding/typing ability (60+ wpm).

Skilled in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Excellent organizational skills with sharp attention to detail.

Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to stay composed and efficient under tight deadlines.
