Beacon Hill Legal is partnering with a leading law firm on a Plaintiff-Side Settlement Attorney opportunity. The ideal candidate is located in Washington D.C – however, they are open to remote candidates as well.
The Opportunity:
This firm is seeking a Settlement Attorney to design, plan, and execute plaintiff-side mass tort settlements. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented attorney who thrives on process, precision, and collaboration. You will coordinate with internal teams, settlement administrators, lien resolution providers, and defense counsel to ensure thousands of clients receive the compensation secured through litigation.
Highlights:

Manage complex settlement processes and ensure compliance with Master Settlement Agreements (MSAs) and other settlement triggers.

Partner with client services to communicate with clients, obtain records, and collect signed settlement documents.

Maintain settlement trackers and documentation using Excel and project management tools (e.g., Monday.com).

Coordinate directly with settlement administrators, lien resolution providers, and defense counsel to implement settlements efficiently.

Draft, review, and manage settlement documents and agreements, ensuring accuracy and completeness.

Conduct targeted legal research on settlement structuring and implementation issues.
Qualifications:

JD from an accredited law school and active bar membership in good standing.

5+ years of legal experience, preferably in settlement administration, mass tort, product liability, or complex litigation.

Experience managing high-volume settlements and coordinating with multiple stakeholders.

Strong drafting, organization, and attention to detail.

Comfortable with project management software and advanced Excel functions.

High professionalism, discretion, and judgment.
