Reputable firm in Great Boston is adding a litigation legal assistant to their team.
MUST have 1 + year litigation experience

Responsibilities
- Provide support to several mixed-level attorneys
- Provide limited support to office manager
- Effectively communicate with colleagues and clients
- Draft legal documents
- File various legal documents (e-filing)
- Conduct social media searches
- Scheduling
- Outgoing mail
- Minimal phone backup
- Some data entry
- Obtain electronic file materials (Box, CounselLink, Dropbox, numerous secure platforms)
- Setup of and assistance with coordinating remote proceedings/webinars (Microsoft Teams, GoToWebinar, Skype, Zoom, etc.)
- Facilitate the meeting of deadlines by keeping multiple agendas and provide timely reminders
Skills
- Time management
- Knowledge of legal terminology / regulations / court system preferred
- Proficiency in legal technology / e-filing / filing fees preferred
- Proficiency in Rule 9A preferred
