Reptuable investment firm in MetroWest is seeking a strong Corporate Paralegal with 1+ years’ Corporate experience.
MUST have experience with venture capital work from a mi to big law firm
Job Description:
Paralegal Tasks:
- Insurance Renewals
- All the Annual Reports for every entity
- Forming out equity grant documents;
- Forming out convertible notes, warrants and other convertible securities;
- Fully compiling transaction documents for a variety of equity financing transactions; and
- Maintenance of portfolio company records.
- Setting up Portfolio Companies
- UCC Searches
- Insurance Audits
- Dealing with the public filings
- Trademarks
EDUCATION, KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s degree from a top school + Paralegal Certificate
1+ years’ corporate paralegal experience
Capitalization tables, private equity, and venture capital experience
Soft Skills/Must Haves:
– Someone very organized
– Very good with spreadsheets and excel
– Someone with experience but who is moldable
– Someone who is curious and takes initiative
– Someone who is good with technology
– Added bonus if they are a Notary or willing to become one
– Strong oral and written communication skills.
