Senior Legal Counsel (Fully Remote – U.S.)
We are seeking a proactive, business-oriented Senior Legal Counsel to join a growing legal team at a fast-scaling, Boston-based technology company. This is a fully remote role with high visibility and broad responsibility, supporting complex commercial transactions across multiple regions.
This position is ideal for a lawyer who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys operating with autonomy, and is energized by building structure and scalable processes in an evolving business.
What You’ll Do
Commercial Transactions
Lead and manage commercial contracting across the full deal lifecycle, from RFP and proposal support through negotiation and execution
Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of agreements, including SaaS subscription agreements, MSAs, professional services agreements, subcontracts, teaming agreements, and channel or reseller arrangements
Support both direct and indirect sales models across public and private sector opportunities
Partner with global Sales teams on enterprise contracts, renewals, and complex negotiations
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Provide practical legal guidance on data protection, privacy, IP, and commercial issues in enterprise customer negotiations
Build strong working relationships with stakeholders across go-to-market, security, finance, and product teams
Take ownership of complex, unstructured issues and develop business-aligned solutions
Contribute to the continued growth and maturity of the in-house legal function
Process & Scale
Develop and maintain templates, playbooks, and scalable contracting processes to support deal velocity while maintaining compliance
What You Bring
J.D. (or equivalent) and active U.S. bar membership in good standing
5+ years of post-qualification legal experience
Demonstrated experience across the software procurement lifecycle (SaaS and/or on-prem), from either a vendor or enterprise perspective
