Beacon Hill Legal is staffing a contract Internal Controls Documentation and Risk Analyst role for a notable publication company based in Arlington, VA.
This contract is anticipated to last 6+ months and will adhere to a hybrid model with 4 days onsite, 1 day remote.
In the role, you will:
- Support internal audit and risk management by documenting business processes, identifying risks, and ensuring controls are clearly defined and audit-ready.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to assess control design, identify gaps, and support risk assessments, issue tracking, and remediation efforts.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in controls documentation, (Sarbanes-Oxley) SOX or risk frameworks, and the ability to translate complex processes into clear, actionable insights.
