Legal Assistant (Litigation) – Denver, CO
A growing law firm in downtown Denver is seeking a Litigation Legal Assistant to join its collaborative team. This is a newly created position due to continued growth and offers the opportunity to support a busy litigation practice while working closely with attorneys and administrative staff in a professional, team-oriented environment.
This role is ideal for someone with strong litigation experience who enjoys balancing legal support responsibilities with day-to-day office operations and administrative coordination.
Position Highlights
- Hybrid schedule: 3 days in office, 2 days remote after training
- Competitive compensation at $65k-$85K+, with flexibility based on experience

Responsibilities
- Coordinate e-filing in state and federal courts, including assembling exhibits and preparing filing materials
- Prepare, revise, proofread, and finalize legal documents and correspondence
- Maintain electronic and physical client files
- Manage document organization and filing within a document management system
- Assist attorneys with expense submissions and administrative requests
- Support time entry and other legal administrative functions
- Order and maintain office supplies, kitchen supplies, and attorney lunches
- Coordinate office events, celebrations, and meetings
- Troubleshoot basic office equipment issues and coordinate maintenance requests
- Collaborate with legal support professionals across multiple offices
- Provide general administrative and litigation support as needed
Qualifications
- 2-4 years of recent litigation legal assistant or legal secretary experience
- Experience with state and federal court e-filing
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat
- Excellent proofreading and document formatting skills
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Ability to prioritize multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Professional written and verbal communication skills
- Law firm experience required
- Associate degree required; bachelor’s degree preferred

Candidates with experience in commercial litigation, insurance defense, civil litigation, construction litigation, or other litigation-focused practices are encouraged to apply.
