Beacon Hill Legal is partnering with a sophisticated risk management and insurance advisory organization seeking an experienced Attorney with deep insurance-industry knowledge.
This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney who wants to move beyond traditional legal practice and use their coverage expertise in a highly client-facing advisory role.
What you’ll do:
- Analyze commercial P&C insurance policies and complex coverage language
- Identify coverage gaps, limitations, and potential improvements
- Review contracts for insurance and risk-allocation considerations
- Advise clients on insurance coverage and risk-management issues
- Draft clear, practical coverage analyses and recommendations
- Interact with senior corporate stakeholders, brokers, and insurance professionals
- Help clients evaluate sophisticated risk and insurance solutions
We’re looking for:
- J.D. and active bar admission
- 2+ years of relevant insurance/coverage experience
- Strong knowledge of property & casualty insurance
- Experience working for, representing, or regularly interacting with insurance companies strongly preferred
- Excellent policy-analysis, writing, and client-facing skills
- Commercial mindset and ability to translate complex insurance concepts into actionable business advice
This role could be particularly compelling for an insurance coverage attorney, in-house insurance counsel, or insurer-side attorney interested in a sophisticated consulting/advisory environment.
