Beacon Hill Lega is seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal to support a sophisticated civil litigation practice. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with attorneys and clients on complex business, employment, real estate, and other civil matters from case inception through trial.
The ideal candidate is proactive, highly organized, and comfortable taking ownership of active matters while anticipating deadlines and next steps.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage case files, calendars, deadlines, state and federal court filings, and document-intensive matters.
- Draft pleadings, discovery, subpoenas, correspondence, and other litigation documents; coordinate document collection, review, production, and eDiscovery.
- Review records and evidence, conduct legal and factual research, and prepare summaries, chronologies, exhibits, and case materials.
- Coordinate with clients, witnesses, experts, courts, opposing counsel, and vendors, and assist with depositions, hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and trials.
Qualifications
- At least three years of substantive civil litigation paralegal experience, including strong discovery and eDiscovery skills.
- Working knowledge of state and federal court procedures and electronic filing systems.
- Strong technology, research, organization, and case-management skills, with the ability to manage competing deadlines.
- Excellent attention to detail, communication, initiative, and the ability to work collaboratively with attorneys and clients.
