Litigation Associate Attorney – Insurance Defense

Beacon Hill Legal is partnering with a mid-sized litigation firm to identify a Civil Litigation Associate to join its team in Denver, Colorado. This is an excellent opportunity for a junior associate seeking hands-on litigation experience and a clear path toward partnership in a collaborative environment.

Highlights:

• Civil Litigation Associate role with a focus on insurance defense and construction defect matters

• Opportunity to gain significant hands-on experience early, including depositions, hearings, and trial participation

• Hybrid schedule after training (initially 5 days in office, transitioning to 2 days in office)

• Billable requirement of approximately 1700 hours annually

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience

• Experience with the Colorado Rules of Civil Procedure and Federal Rules of Civil Procedure

• Experience drafting pleadings, including dispositive motions, and managing written discovery

• Experience preparing for and taking depositions

• Exposure to hearings and trial preparation preferred

• Insurance defense and construction defect experience strongly preferred

• Prior judicial clerkship experience is a plus

• Licensed and in good standing to practice law in Colorado

• Strong analytical, research, and writing skills
