The Office Operations Coordinator supports the daily administrative and operational functions of a medical office, ensuring efficient workflows, regulatory compliance, and a positive experience for patients, providers, and staff. This role serves as a central point of coordination across front office, clinical, and administrative teams.
Key Responsibilities

Coordinate day-to-day office operations to ensure smooth patient flow and efficient office functionality

Support front desk activities, including scheduling, check-in/check-out, and patient communication as needed

Act as a liaison between providers, clinical staff, and administrative teams

Maintain office supplies, equipment, and vendor relationships

Ensure compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, and internal policies and procedures

Assist with onboarding, training coordination, and scheduling for office staff

Monitor workflows and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and patient experience

Maintain accurate records and documentation in EMR and practice management systems

Address operational issues and escalate concerns appropriately
Qualifications

Prior experience in a medical office, healthcare administration, or office operations

Working knowledge of medical office workflows, scheduling, and patient services

Familiarity with EMR systems and standard office software
-
Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
-
Bilingual English and Spanish is a must****
