Beacon Hill is seeking an experienced paralegal to support its growing Wills & Estates practice, along with additional work in Family Law and Personal Injury. The Wills & Estates group is becoming increasingly busy, with a partner on-site two days per week and an associate handling additional matters. An experienced paralegal will play a key role in supporting this team and ensuring smooth workflow across all practice areas. This is an in-office role requiring a dependable, organized, and detail-oriented professional who can manage a steady caseload and work collaboratively with attorneys and staff.
Responsibilities:
- Draft estate planning documents, probate filings, family law pleadings, and personal injury litigation documents
- Manage case files from intake through resolution, ensuring deadlines are tracked and met
- Prepare and file documents with Pennsylvania courts, including e-filing where applicable
- Coordinate with attorneys, clients, courts, and outside parties to support case progress
- Assist with discovery, document organization, and trial preparation
- Maintain organized case management systems and accurate file documentation
- Support attorneys with scheduling, client communication, and workflow coordination
Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of paralegal experience preferred
- Experience in Wills & Estates, Family Law, or Personal Injury strongly preferred
- Strong drafting, organizational, and case management skills
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, fully in-office environment
- Excellent communication skills and professional client interaction
- Familiarity with Pennsylvania court procedures and filing requirements
- Proficiency with legal software, Microsoft Office, and case management tools
