Beacon Hill Legal is hiring an experienced Personal Injury Plaintiff Paralegal for a growing plaintiff-side practice in Cranberry Township, Pennsylvania. This is an excellent opportunity for a highly skilled paralegal who can independently manage a substantial caseload, navigate the complexities of personal injury matters, and serve as a key resource to the attorney and legal team.

The ideal candidate will have extensive plaintiff personal injury experience, strong organizational skills, and the ability to take ownership of files from intake through resolution with minimal supervision. Candidates should be comfortable working in a technology-driven environment and interested in emerging legal technologies, including AI-assisted document and medical record review.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a caseload of approximately 50-70 personal injury matters simultaneously
  • Handle cases from intake through settlement and resolution with minimal oversight
  • Obtain, organize, review, and summarize medical records and supporting documentation
  • Draft correspondence, medical summaries, settlement packages, demand letters, and litigation documents
  • Coordinate with medical providers, insurance adjusters, lienholders, and other parties involved in claims
  • Track case deadlines, treatment updates, and settlement negotiations
  • Assist with litigation matters, including discovery responses, court filings, and trial preparation
  • Work within various medical record and lien portals to obtain and manage case information
  • Maintain accurate electronic case files and detailed case records
  • Utilize case management software and technology to streamline workflows and improve efficiency
  • Collaborate with attorneys and staff while adapting to established office procedures and systems

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years of plaintiff-side personal injury paralegal experience
  • Proven ability to independently manage a high-volume caseload
  • Strong knowledge of personal injury claims, medical records, treatment documentation, and settlement processes
  • Litigation experience preferred
  • Experience with Clio or other legal case management software
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft Teams, Zoom, and other legal technologies
  • Comfortable learning and utilizing emerging technologies, including AI tools for medical record review and document drafting
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize competing deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Self-motivated professional capable of working independently and as part of a team
