Beacon Hill is hiring for a Staff Attorney with deep experience in trademark prosecution and copyright matters to support a legal team on a temporary assignment. This role is ideal for a highly experienced attorney who can step in quickly and manage sophisticated intellectual property work with minimal supervision.
The assignment is expected to last 3-6 months. While candidates tied to one of the firm’s offices are preferred, remote work may be considered with approval. The focus is on finding the strongest possible candidate.
Responsibilities:
Handle domestic and international trademark prosecution, including filings, office action responses, renewals, and maintenance.
Manage copyright matters, including registrations and related advisory work.
Provide strategic guidance on trademark portfolio management and prosecution issues.
Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external counsel as needed.
Ensure accuracy, compliance, and timely handling of all trademark and copyright matters.
Qualifications:
10-15+ years of experience in trademark prosecution and copyright law.
Demonstrated ability to manage complex IP matters independently.
Strong attention to detail and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to ramp up quickly and contribute immediately in a fast-paced environment.
Assignment Details:
Temporary assignment of approximately 3-6 months.
