A leading Am Law 100 international law firm is seeking a litigation associate to join its Healthcare practice in Chicago or Denver. The firm represents Fortune 500 companies in complex litigation, regulatory, and government-facing matter. This role offers the opportunity to work on a broad range of complex healthcare-related disputes, including civil litigation, class actions, commercial disputes, and arbitrations with well-regarded partners in a national practice.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle all phases of litigation, including written discovery, depositions, and motion practice
- Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, and other case-related materials
- Support case strategy development for complex healthcare and commercial disputes
- Collaborate with partners and clients on high-stakes litigation and regulatory matters
- Manage multiple matters and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Qualifications:
- 2-5+ years of litigation experience with interest in or exposure to healthcare litigation; prior healthcare experience is a plus but not required
- Strong research, writing, and analytical skills
- Excellent academic credentials
- Active bar admission in the relevant jurisdiction or eligibility for admission
Compensation & Benefits:
This position offers a competitive salary range of $225,000-$320,000, along with a discretionary bonus.
