We’re partnering with a well-established, locally respected company in Olympia looking for an AP pro to step in during a leave. While this starts as a temporary assignment, there is potential for long-term opportunity if it’s the right match.
You’ll work directly with the Controller and CFO in a collaborative, straight-shooting accounting team that values independence, accountability, and accuracy.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Process ~100 invoices per day across multiple entities
- Code and enter vendor bills into Sage Intacct
- Manage weekly check runs and ACH payments
- Reconcile vendor statements and the AP ledger
- Assist with cash postings (and possibly AR support)
- Investigate discrepancies and resolve vendor inquiries
- Support audit preparation
- Help improve and streamline processes as the team continues refining systems
They’re newer to Sage Intacct, so someone adaptable and systems-savvy will thrive here.
What We’re Looking For
Must-Haves:
- 1-2+ years of Accounts Payable experience
- Understanding of Washington sales tax
- Intermediate Excel skills
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
