Payroll & Benefits Specialist
We are looking for a Payroll & Benefits Specialist to oversee payroll processing and benefits administration for our growing team. This role is essential in ensuring accurate payroll, smooth employee transitions, and effective benefits management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process bi-weekly, multi-state payroll for employees and contractors
- Manage onboarding and offboarding of employees
- Handle payroll tax filings and ensure compliance with regulations
- Respond to employee payroll and benefits questions
- Administer and maintain employee benefits programs including medical, dental, and retirement plans
- Stay current with payroll and benefits compliance requirements
- Reconcile benefit premiums, 401(k) contributions, payroll earnings, and cash transactions on a bi-weekly basis
Qualifications:
- Experience with payroll processing (multi-state preferred)
- Familiarity with payroll tax filing and compliance
- Knowledge of employee benefits administration
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Effective communication and problem-solving skills
