Accounting Specialist (AP & AR)
Looking to build your accounting skills in a high-volume, fast-paced environment – while adding NetSuite to your resume?
We’re partnering with a well-established, manufacturing company in Portland seeking an Accounting Clerk to jump in and support the team during a leave. This is an ongoing temp opportunity with the potential to evolve depending on business needs.
What You’ll Be Doing
This role will evolve, but here’s how it starts:
- Train on Accounts Payable first
- Transition into Accounts Receivable once you’ve mastered AP
- High-volume data entry
- Work daily in NetSuite (huge resume builder!)
- Support the accounting team wherever needed
- Assist with general administrative tasks within accounting
This is a “jump in wherever needed” type of role. The ideal person is a sponge – quick learner, excellent note-taker, adaptable, and not above any task.
You’ll be part of a larger accounting team (around 13 in-office) supporting a company with multiple locations and a strong, stable presence in its industry.
