POSITION SUMMARY
Work cross functionally to ensure smooth export of our products to international customers by
assessing and adhering to export requirements, liaising with external partners to interpret and adhere to
import requirements at destination and ensuring all relevant documentation is compiled and correctly
archived while working to improve lead times.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Provide necessary documentation for all exports.
Ability to navigate Partner Government Agency websites, requirements, regulations, etc.
Interpret regulations and their applicability to our business. `
Obtain the knowledge of required documentation for all importing countries.
Audit and teach other departments to ensure that gaps are filled in exports.
Maintain export folders to be sure that government document retention policies are followed.
JOB SPECIFICATIONS
Education and Experience:
This job requires a bachelor’s degree with 2+ years’ experience in an international transportation
position or a comparable combination of education and experience.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
1. Knowledge of Microsoft excel, word, and other programs
2. Knowledge of international trade requirements
3. Proficiency in navigating 15 CFR parts 300-799
4. Skills in problem solving and time management
5. Skills in coordinating between departments
6. Skills in trouble shooting and critical thinking.
7. Ability to act independently on routine assignments or projects.
8. Ability to plan, organize and multi-task to complete assignments in an efficient manner.
9. Ability to communicate professionally, both oral and written.
10. Ability to pay attention to details and perform at a high-level accuracy.
11. Ability to work independently and with a team.
12. Ability to work hours that conform to standard business operations (8:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M.)
