Beacon Hill’s client, an immigration law firm, is seeking an experienced Court Staff Attorney for a temp role slated to start later this month. - Duration: 4 hours on 2/25/26 Note: While this is a short engagement, there is potential for repeat work, and the selected attorney may continue supporting the client on similar matters through us.
- Location: Onsite San Francisco, CA 94104
- Training Structure: Expected training duration is approximately 30 minutes to 1 hour
- Pay rate: $75-$90/hour, depending on experience
Candidates must have:
- J.D. from an ABA-approved law school and an active membership in good standing of any state bar is required.
- Fluent in English and Spanish required.
- USCIS/Immigration Experience:
- Basic knowledge of immigration law required.
- Prior experience practicing immigration law in court preferred.
- Can be either experienced with USCIS (affirmative cases) or EOIR/Immigration Court (defensive cases).
- Legal Experience:
- Background in mock trial, moot court, depositions, and/or litigation preferred.
- Ability to work with clients to talk through difficult experiences and keep client focused on key facts required.
- Experience using a case management software system preferred.
- Executive Office for Immigration Review (EOIR) number required.
Work Ability:
- Ability to follow processes and work efficiently.
- Ability to follow detailed directions.
- Computer skills (Typing – MS Word and MS Excel, Document Management – DropBox, Email – MS Outlook) required.
