Beacon Hill’s client, a regional law firm, is seeking experienced Labor & Employment litigation contract attorneys to support its team. Ideal candidates will have experience handling California wage-and-hour class action claims and PAGA cases and will be comfortable managing matters through all phases of litigation.

Location: Remote (U.S.-based; California-based candidates preferred); active California bar license required.

Start: ASAP

Duration: Initial 6-month assignment with the possibility of extension and potential direct-hire conversion

Concurrent employment: May be considered

Hours: Up to 40 hours per week; reduced schedules may be considered for exceptional candidates

Pay: $100-$120/hour, depending on experience
Qualifications:

Active California bar license in good standing

12+ years of experience handling California wage and hour class action claims

Experience with PAGA matters is strongly preferred

Strong academic credentials

Excellent writing skills
-
Strong analytical skills
-
Ability to manage multiple matters in a fast-paced environment
Responsibilities include:

Managing matters through all phases of litigation

Drafting and responding to discovery requests and initial pleadings

Researching, drafting, and arguing motions

Taking and defending depositions
