Corporate Counsel (Healthcare)
Beacon Hill Legal is partnering with a healthcare organization seeking a temporary Corporate Counsel to join its legal team in Pasadena, California.
Location: Pasadena, CA 91101 (Onsite). This position is not eligible for remote or hybrid work arrangements.
Schedule: 40-hour work week, Monday – Friday
Duration: Ongoing, with potential for direct hire conversion based on business needs
Pay: $100-$125/hour, depending on experience
Responsibilities
- Handle healthcare regulation, compliance, and risk management matters
- Assist with intellectual property and trademark matters, including trademarking logos
- Support a variety of legal matters in a dynamic environment
- Work closely with legal leadership on healthcare-related legal issues
Qualifications
- Active California Bar license in good standing
- 3+ years of experience as a healthcare attorney
- Experience with medical professional liability and/or healthcare regulatory matters
- Experience with healthcare compliance and risk management matters preferred
- Prior in-house counsel experience is not required; candidates practicing healthcare law in a law firm setting will be considered
- Ability to adapt to diverse daily responsibilities
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
