Beacon Hill’s client, a privately held real estate development company, is seeking a Paralegal with strong experience in real estate development, construction contracts, and project documentation. This role supports a dynamic legal and project team managing mixed-use, multifamily, and commercial development projects throughout the Phoenix/Scottsdale area.

Key Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and manage architectural, consultant, and subcontractor agreements, including change orders, lien documentation, and related correspondence.
- Oversee contract and document control systems, ensuring accuracy, accessibility, and compliance with regulatory standards.
- Support the legal team with litigation preparation, discovery coordination, and case documentation related to construction and development matters.
- Conduct legal research on construction law, zoning, permitting, and real estate development regulations.
- Maintain organized file management systems for contracts, development projects, and legal matters.
- Collaborate with attorneys, project managers, and outside counsel to manage deadlines and streamline workflows.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of paralegal experience in a real estate development, construction, or architectural contracting environment (law firm or in-house).
- Familiarity with construction contracts, development documentation, and project-based legal processes.
- Exceptional organizational and communication skills; strong attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel; knowledge of SharePoint, AutoCAD, or Procore is a plus.
- Paralegal certificate preferred; bachelor’s degree a plus.
Compensation
- Pay Range: $38-$72/hour (equivalent to $80K-$150K annually, depending on experience)
