About the Role
Beacon Hill’s law firm client is seeking an experienced Bilingual Spanish Personal Injury Paralegal to support its PI litigation team during a leave coverage period. This role combines core PI case management with deeper litigation and discovery support. The paralegal will work in a high-volume, paperless practice and communicate frequently with Spanish-speaking clients.
- Location: Encino, CA (onsite strongly preferred)
- Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
- Duration: 3-6 month leave coverage, potential to extend
- Pay: $30-$35 per hour, DOE
Core PI responsibilities:
- Heavy client communication in Spanish and English
- Contact with adjusters; case status and follow up
- Opening and managing PI cases in the case management system
- Requesting, tracking, and organizing medical records and bills
- Collecting client information, documents, and signatures
- Tracking damages and organizing records, photos, and evidence
- Preparing template letters, forms, and standard correspondence
- Maintaining organized electronic files in a paperless environment
Paralegal-level responsibilities:
- Discovery support (organizing sets, assisting with responses, managing productions)
- Drafting shell discovery responses, simple motions/notices, and demand support
- Court work including e-filing and formatting pleadings, exhibits, and proofs of service
- Working more independently with litigation timelines, deadlines, and task management
Required Qualifications
- Fluent Spanish (written and verbal)
- Personal Injury experience required
- Prior PI paralegal experience strongly preferred
- Ability to manage high-volume, fast-paced litigation tasks
- Strong drafting, organizational, and communication skills
- Comfortable with case management systems and paperless workflows
Work Environment
- Onsite in Encino is strongly preferred
- Limited hybrid may be considered for exceptional paralegal candidates who can still be in office regularly
