Beacon Hill’s client, a local natural gas distribution company, is seeking a paralegal to support their in-house team.
- Title: Legal Specialist (Paralegal)
- Location: Hybrid – In-office Tuesday through Thursday (Portland, OR 97204)
- Duration: 12 months (May 6, 2025 – May 5, 2026)
- Hours: Full-time
- Hourly pay: $35-$48/hour, depending on experience
Qualifications & Key Responsibilities:
- Ideal candidates will have paralegal experience in both corporate and litigation work
- Litigation support experience, including coordination with outside counsel, document review, and case management
- Discovery experience, including collecting, organizing, and producing documents in response to subpoenas and discovery requests
- Experience with business licenses, corporate organization, foreign qualifications, and similar corporate filings
- Experience managing due diligence and regulatory filings
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; excellent writing and proofreading abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and SharePoint
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new subject matter areas
- Experience working both independently and as part of a small team
- Ability to maintain effective relationships across departments and with external legal teams
