Beacon Hill’s client, a highly regarded law firm, is seeking an experienced contract Litigation Attorney to support their team. This role is best suited for an attorney with 5+ years of litigation experience who can step in quickly and handle substantive work with minimal oversight.
- Location: Remote, Seattle preferred, open to West Coast candidates (California, Washington state, Oregon)
- Start: ASAP
- Duration: 6 months, with potential for extension
- Hours: 40 hours per week
- Pay: $80-$93/hour, depending on experience
Qualifications:
- Active bar license in good standing in state of residence (CA, WA, OR)
- 5+ years of litigation experience
- Strong drafting, discovery, and case analysis experience
- Deposition experience required (will not be appearing in court or taking depositions)
- Ability to work efficiently and independently
- Comfortable using AI tools
- Bonus experience includes bankruptcy court, Ponzi schemes, financial institution or financial services litigation, white collar defense, and investigations
Responsibilities may include:
- Analyzing cases and assessing merits, risks, and weaknesses
- Communicating and negotiating settlements
- Drafting complaints, demand letters, discovery, and motions to compel
- Preparing deposition outlines
- Supporting partners on litigation strategy and case development
