Beacon Hill’s client, a high-volume plaintiff-side personal injury law firm in Los Angeles, is seeking two Litigation Paralegals to join its team on a temporary-to-hire basis.
This opportunity is ideal for experienced litigation paralegals who thrive in a fast-paced environment and have strong discovery experience. The firm is seeking professionals who can quickly step in and provide substantive support on high-volume plaintiff-side personal injury matters, with the potential for long-term growth.
Position Details
- Position: Litigation Paralegal
- Location: Los Angeles, CA (Onsite)
- Start: ASAP
- Duration: Temporary with potential for temp-to-hire conversion
- Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM; some flexibility with start time
- Work Arrangement: Onsite five days per week for the first 90 days, with the opportunity to transition to a hybrid schedule (2 days onsite/3 days remote) thereafter
- Pay: $35-$45/hour, depending on experience
- Parking: Provided
Qualifications
- Prior litigation paralegal experience required
- Strong experience handling all aspects of written discovery, including propounding and responding to discovery
- Familiarity with California state and federal court filing procedures
- Plaintiff-side personal injury experience strongly preferred
- Bilingual English/Spanish highly preferred
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently in a high-volume environment
- Experience with Westlaw is a plus; training can be provided
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
Responsibilities
- Handle all aspects of written discovery, including drafting, propounding, and responding to discovery requests
- Assist with filings in California state and federal courts
- Support attorneys and litigation teams with high-volume caseloads
- Maintain case files, calendars, and litigation deadlines
- Draft and prepare correspondence, pleadings, and other legal documents
- Conduct legal research and case investigation as needed
- Assist with trial preparation and general litigation support
- Provide substantive case management assistance throughout the litigation lifecycle
- Collaborate with attorneys, paralegals, and support staff to ensure efficient case progression
