Business Intake Specialist (Remote) | Contract
Beacon Hill’s client is seeking a Business Intake Specialist to support its Information Governance team. This role is responsible for processing and maintaining client and matter intake information, ensuring accuracy and completeness of records, and supporting high-volume intake workflows. The ideal candidate will have experience in administrative operations, business intake, data entry, legal support, or similar detail-oriented environments.

Hourly pay varies based on the candidate’s approved work location and experience:
- SEA: $27.88-$34.62/hour
- NYC: $35.58-$37.50/hour
- PDX: $28.37-$30.29/hour
- WDC: $32.21-$33.65/hour
- SFO: $36.54-$38.94/hour
- LAX: $33.65-$37.98/hour
Key Responsibilities
- Process and review new client and matter intake requests.
- Enter, update, and audit client and matter information for accuracy and completeness.
- Ensure information is entered consistently and in accordance with established procedures.
- Monitor intake requests and respond to internal questions and follow-up needs.
- Communicate with attorneys, legal staff, accounting personnel, and other internal teams regarding intake-related matters.
- Assist with updates to existing client and matter records.
- Maintain accurate, organized, and timely information across intake workflows.
- Support additional administrative and Information Governance projects as assigned.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in administrative support, data entry, legal support, business intake, or a related field.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Experience managing high-volume, detail-oriented, or time-sensitive work.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent organizational, follow-up, and time management skills.
- Strong customer service and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Typing speed of 50+ words per minute.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
- Experience with document management, business intake, conflicts, or legal technology preferred.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Bachelor’s degree or substantial relevant industry experience preferred.
