Litigation Attorney
Beacon Hill’s client, an Am Law Firm, is seeking a remote litigation attorney to support their commercial and business litigation practice. The team is looking for someone interested in a long-term opportunity, with potential for permanent conversion.
Position Details
Pay: $102-$119 per hour, depending on experience.
Schedule: 30-40 hours per week, Monday-Friday, working Eastern time hours.
Duration: Initially estimated at six months, with potential for permanent conversion based on business needs.
Start: As soon as possible.
Location: Remote (Candidates must reside in and be actively licensed in the same eligible state in which the firm has an office)
Eligible states: California, Delaware, Florida, Illinois, Massachusetts, Missouri, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Oregon, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Washington State, and Washington, D.C.
Responsibilities
- Assist with deposition preparation; this role does not involve taking depositions.
- Draft briefs and conduct legal research.
- Support trial preparation and discovery.
Qualifications
- Must reside in and hold an active bar license in good standing in an eligible location listed above
- 4+ years of complex litigation experience, preferably in commercial contract or business litigation.
- Delaware litigation experience preferred, but not required.
- Strong research, writing, and organizational skills.
- Comfortable taking initiative, working independently, and knowing when to ask questions.
- Interest in a long-term opportunity.
- No concurrent legal work during the assignment.
